Maybe you’ve tried to get clean more times than you can count.
Maybe your life looks “fine” from the outside—but you know the patterns that keep pulling you back.
Shame. Isolation. Emotional pain that hasn’t been named or healed.
Whether you’re early in recovery or deep in a personal transformation, I want you to know: you don’t have to do this alone.
I’m Rick Zelle, a therapist and certified addiction counselor. I specialize in supporting people navigating addiction, trauma, and the long road back to themselves. My approach is trauma-informed, culturally attuned, and grounded in both science and spirit.
In our work together, we’ll use EMDR, energy work, Gottman-informed strategies, and body-based practices to help you break free from the cycles that no longer serve you. Whether we’re working through relapse patterns, anxiety, shame, or deep-seated trauma, I’ll meet you where you are—with honesty, respect, and zero judgment.
I’m a Master of Social Work (MSW) candidate at Washington University in St. Louis and hold a Missouri Associate Alcohol & Drug Counselor II (MAADC-II) credential. My background includes international cross-cultural work, group therapy, higher education, and IOP-level addiction treatment.
You’ve already survived so much. Healing is about what comes next.
“Healing is about recognizing patterns, breaking cycles, and stepping into the life you deserve.”
