Deezhi Thinn

Indigenous Healer | Trauma Therapist in Training | EMDR Trained

Deezhi Thinn (Diné) is a therapist in training who brings both professional skill and lived wisdom to her work. As an enrolled member of the Navajo Nation, raised on the reservation, she carries forward her people’s teachings while honoring the diverse paths of those she serves.

Deezhi’s passion lies in walking with clients through the tender places where faith, culture, and identity intersect. She works with individuals navigating religious and spiritual trauma, helping them reclaim safety, belonging, and connection. With a multi-religious lens, she honors each client’s story—whether rooted in Christianity, Indigenous tradition, or another spiritual path—and creates space for healing without judgment.

Her training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) allows her to support clients in moving through overwhelming experiences and restoring balance. She integrates an Indigenous worldview, seeing emotional, spiritual, intellectual, and physical wellness as deeply interconnected.

Clients often come to Deezhi when they are:

  • Wrestling with the impacts of religion or religious trauma
  • Seeking culturally grounded, trauma-informed therapy
  • Wanting to heal generational wounds and reclaim identity
  • Looking for a therapist who understands the complexity of holding multiple cultural or spiritual traditions

Deezhi’s approach is compassionate, grounding, and strength-based. She walks alongside clients with the belief that every person holds the medicine they need for healing—and therapy can be the circle where that medicine is remembered and restored.
